Tzarev's vivid paintings celebrate cultural diversity with exceptional insight developed from years of research and her remarkable knowledge of global history, spirituality and the arts.
Her works portray both historic and present-day rituals, as well as the traditions and rhythm of daily life in a wide range of scenes from flower markets and rice harvests in Southeast Asia to traditional dances of West African tribes; from Japanese kabuki and tea ceremonies to life along China's rivers.
