The Russian American Cultural Heritage Center, RACH-C, held its Salute to Spring benefit gala at the Ana Tzarev Gallery honoring Museum of Russian Icons director Gordon Lankton for Outstanding Service and Alex Soldier as Distinguished Benefactor. Two of the RACH-C board members, Prince Vladimir Galitzine and Elena Mayakovskaya, expressed their appreciation for the work the RACH-C does in preserving and sharing Russian culture, especially with children who otherwise might risk losing part of their cultural heritage. Among the many distinguished guests were Princess Tatiana Galitzine, Princess Lucretia Obolensky, wife of the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations, Mrs. Irina Churkina, the Council General of the Russian Federation Mr. & Mrs. Andrey Yushmanov, the Council General of the Ukraine Mr. & Mrs. Pohoreltsev, and Bishop Jerome of Manhattan, Russian Orthodox Church.
