Mr. Ed Gerard of Quintessentially Wine hosted a wonderful evening of wine and champagne tasting at the Ana Tzarev Gallery. Among the featured wines of the evening were a 2008 Verdicchio, predominantly from the Marche region in Central Italy, and a 2006 Monastrel, a bold and fruitful wine that explodes with flavors of cherry while holding undertones of leather and licorice. The guests enjoyed the tastings against the backdrop of the Freedom to Create exhibition and a selection of Ana Tzarev's paintings.
