Over 500 people attended the Opening Reception of Skazki - Russian Fairy Tales, an exhibition of Kim Balaschak's collection of Russian Fairy Tale Ornaments and Paul Rodzianko's collection of vintage Russian Fairy Tale postcards. The exhibition also includes eight paintings from the artist Ana Tzarev's Russian Fairy Tale paintings. The idea came to Tzarev in 2009, and a year later, over 100 paintings were created, capturing the characters, scenes, and sentiment of the stories that have been cherished by Russians for centuries. The stories themselves are rich with characters and engaging plots and each ends with a message on morality.
