On view September 9

This exhibition features paintings by the well-known contemporary Croatian artist Milijada Barada. Her masterful use of color showcases a variety of imagery ranging from the natural to the spiritual. Barada’s paintings convey a keen observation of her subject matter, for which she adapts an expressionist style to her own unique vision. An important figure in contemporary Croatian art, Milijada Barada has participated in over 50 solo and group exhibitions; her works are part of many museum and private collections including the Vatican Museum. The exhibition will be on view from September 9 through October 9.
